GasSecure demonstrated the first wireless optical gas detector for hydrocarbons on ONS 2010. The detector operates on batteries and transmits data to a laptop computer using the wireless industry standard ISA 100.11a. While the housing is constructed for demonstration purposes only, the interior detection system is the real thing.
